Fallen pop-princess Britney Spears shows no signs of being a friendlier “saner” celebrity. Spears allegedly hand-delivered a lawyer-letter to her mother, Lynne Spears, requesting that her mother stay away from Spears’ two children with Kevin Federline. Spears, apparently, is still pissed off that her mother intervened during her episode of bizarre behavior and played a role in having her “committed” to the Promises Rehab Center in Malibu, California. People reports that Lynne Spears is “heartbroken” and that while the letter was not a restraining order it was a clear directive not to come near Sean Preston and Jayden James ever again. Brit has been circling the drain for months. A little recap: After leaving husband Federline upon finding out he was hitting it hard with strippers in Las Vegas, Spears flashed her ‘va-jay-jay’ to the paparazzi on numerous occasions; was publicly drunk at a variety of Las Vegas, Los Angeles and New York hot spots; had near-lesbian romp pics posted on the Internet; and in the final crescendo shaved her golden locks in front of willing camera-men. It took three attempts to get her into rehab for thirty-days, but the third time was the charm after Federline and Lynne Spears threatened to take the children away from Britney.
Multiple sources confirm that Spears has done little to curb her hard-partying ways. “She’s just gotten better about not doing it in public,” an insider tells Yuddy.com. Spears claimed never to have had a problem with alcohol and blamed her bout of bizarre behavior on post-partum depression. Either way, rehab doesn’t seem to have done much to curb Brit’s wild behavior - she was spotted over the weekend boozing it up at Les Deux nightclub in Los Angeles. The plot thickens as her professional life also looks to be in big trouble. Spears has been rehearsing for a new album, but shows have been ill-received due to her lip-synching, and tracks for the new record are said to be “laughable.” Additionally, TMZ.com is reporting that Federline is hesitant to sign the final divorce agreement papers fearing that Spears may be an unfit parent.
