April Scott
Although April Scott has enjoyed great success in the modeling industry, this brunette bombshell is much more than just a pretty face. Intelligent and talented, she has also appeared on numerous television shows and will make her movie debut in a film to be released in 2007.
April Scott was born on January 29, 1979, in Southeast Missouri. She grew up on a farm and was also a frequent beauty pageant contestant. Because of her striking beauty and poise, April was crowned pageant queen an amazing eighty-five times. After graduating high school, Scott attended a private Christian University where she studied theater. Proving she was no stereotypical beauty queen, she earned the honor of being named valedictorian for her 2001 graduating class in recognition of her outstanding academic performance. Deciding to pursue acting full-time after graduation, she made the necessary move to Los Angeles to find work.
Although April has not yet found a starring role on a hit show, she has had small parts in several successful series including The Shield, CSI Miami, and the HBO series Entourage. April also worked for a short period of time as a co-host of Ripley’s Believe it or Not. Scott showed her wild side when she was the only female to appear with bad boy rockers Tommy Lee, Nikki, and the rest of the entourage in the Motley Crue video “If I Die Tomorrow.” Currently, April can be seen on the hit game show Deal or no Deal, which is hosted by Howie Mandel. She is the striking model holding case number 14, fulfilling and crushing dreams when she reveals the dollar amount in her case to hopeful contestants.
When she is not working on television, April is busy with her highly successful modeling career. She has appeared in such high-profile publications as Maxim, Glamour, Shape and In Style. Her seven page spread in the men’s magazine Maxim led to her being included in the Maxim Hot 100 List for 2006. She has also enjoyed a successful career as a runway model.
April has began turning her efforts towards the big screen. She played a young Daisy Duke in the prequel to Dukes of Hazzard, which was released in 2007. The grown-up Daisy Duke was played by singer Jessica Simpson, the former Newlyweds co-star and ex-wife of Nick Lachey. It gave April the exposure she needed to obtain future movie roles. April is extremely tight-lipped about her personal life, saying that she would rather remain a mystery. In a recent interview, she did reveal that she has been seeing somebody for about a year, but the identity or any details about the lucky man have so far remained, like most of April’s life away from the camera, a mystery.
