This twenty-year-old all-American blonde beauty has her whole acting career in front of her, but even so, she still has a number of notable roles and works with both television and film under her little belt. Brittany Anne Snow, born March 9, 1986, in Tampa, Florida, got her start in the entertainment industry as a child model when she was just three years old.
Her breakthrough into the acting world came when she was only twelve, when she landed the role of troubled teen Susan Lemay on the one of the longest-running series around, the drama Guiding Light, from 1998 until 2001. Guiding Light, created by Irna Phillips, debuted in 1952, and is still going strong. After her stint on Guiding Light, Snow landed what is probably her best-known role to date: Meg Pryor on NBC’s drama American Dreams, from 2002 until 2005 when the series ended. She co-starred with Gail O’Grady, Tom Verica, Will Estes, Sarah Ramos, and Ethan Dampf.
In 2005, Snow snagged a recurring guest role as Ariel Alderman on the popular sexy plastic surgery drama Nip/Tuck, starring regulars Dylan Walsh, Julian McMahon, Joely Richardson, and Roma Maffia. On the big screen, Snow has appeared or starred in a number of films, most notably 2005’s The Pacifier, alongside Vin Diesel, Lauren Graham who is most known as Lorelai Gilmore on Gilmore Girls, Faith Ford, Max Thieriot, Chris Potter, and Carol Kane; and, most recently, in John Tucker Must Die, co-starring Jesse Metcalfe who plays John Rowland from Desperate Housewives, singer Ashanti, Sophia Bush from the popular teen drama One Tree Hill, and Arielle Kebbel who guest starred in Gilmore Girls.
Snow has also been featured on Ashton Kutcher’s Punk’d two different times (once, for being tricked by Kutcher himself, and another, for tricking Sophia Bush). In interviews, Snow has admitted that while she was an A-student, she received eight detentions during her high school years for a myriad of reasons. She’s also mentioned her best friends are Bush, Kebbel, Ashanti, Bethany Joy Galeotti (from One Tree Hill), and Ashley Tisdale. Snow names her favorite (and inspirational) actresses as Meg Ryan, Natalie Portman, and Reese Witherspoon.
Snow dated actor Kyle Searles, best known as a guest star on popular shows like 7th Heaven, Dawson’s Creek, Veronica Mars, and Malcolm in the Middle, although the couple are no longer together.
Snow went on to appear in Hairspray, a film adaptation of the Broadway musical, playing the role of Amber Von Tussle alongside James Marsden, Nikki Blonsky, Amanda Bynes and Zac Efron.
Taking on this role, Snow showed her musical side in numerous numbers including a solo entitled, "The New Girl In Town", a song previously cut from the Broadway musical version.
In 2008 Snow played the lead role in Prom Night.
