Kimberly Stewart was born Alana Kimberly Stewart on August 21, 1979, in Holmby Hills, California. Daughter of rocker Rod Stewart and model Alana Stewart; Kimberly attended modeling classes as a teenager. She soon began modeling for such designers as Tommy Hilfiger, Richard Tyler, Catherine Malandrino and House of Field. At this time, Stewart reunited with childhood friend and fellow model, Paris Hilton. She is also friends with such celebs as Nicky Hilton, Nicole Richie, Courtney Love, and Caroline D'Amore.

At age twenty-two, Stewart underwent an operation to remove the breast implants that she had added at the beginning of her modeling career. Stewart reportedly then sent the silicone implants to friend and former flame Jack Osbourne, landing her front and center in the world of outrageous celebrity gossip.

Stewart has also made headlines in a number of high-profile relationships, with such stars as Scott Caan (son of actor James Caan) and musician Cisco Adler. After becoming engaged to Adler, Stewart declared their love in a tattoo which read: "Daddy's Little Girl Loves Cisco." After the couple split, Stewart then changed the moniker to: "Daddy's Little Girl Loves Disco." Stewart has also been briefly engaged to Laguna Beach’s Talan Torriero, and allegedly hooked up with musician Wes Scantlin – the ex-boyfriend of Stewart’s step-mother, Rachel Hunter.

In 2005, Stewart’s friend, Paris Hilton had a falling out with longtime pal and Simple Life sidekick, Nicole Richie. Suddenly, Stewart and Hilton were appearing together on entertainment shows to promote a new season of The Simple Life, starring Stewart instead of Richie. FOX later announced that the show was to be cancelled, and E! picked up the fourth season in which Richie returned, leaving Stewart in the lurch.

Stewart’s reality television career was not completely over; however. She has since shot the pilot for her own MTV reality series, called Win Your Life Back. She has also appeared on MTV's Cribs, as well as Celebrities Uncensored; and appeared as a co-host on The Insider as well as making her acting debut in a guest role on the series Undeclared.

Stewart continues to model, and is currently signed with Nous Models agency. In 2005, Stewart was signed to appear in TV commercials and posters for Australian underwear line Antz Pantz, along with Nicky Hilton. Stewart has also designed footwear and has her own clothing line, called Pinky Star Fish.

In addition to modeling, Stewart also plays violin and piano. In 2005, she was approached by a producer to release an album, which is expected to hit stores in mid-2007.

Stewart currently lives in California with her two dogs, Bean and Bliss.
