Krista Allen

Krista Allen is known for a variety of memorable roles she has taken and interesting characters she has played on both film and television—in particular, for starring as Emmanuelle in the made-for-TV Emmanuelle in Space erotic film series, and for her role as Billie Reed on Days of our Lives. She’s also known for dating A-list actor and forever bachelor George Clooney for two years.

Allen was born in Ventura, California, on April 5, 1972, and after graduating from Austin Community College in Texas with an education degree and working for a while as a kindergarten teacher, she instead chose to pursue a career in acting.

She broke out into show biz in 1994 with her sexy softcore role as Emmanuelle in the eight Emmanuelle films, which were essentially about meeting other life forms and aliens and teaching them about sex. Paul Michael Robinson and Tiendra Demian also starred. After her Emmanuelle stint, Allen made a few television appearances until she landed the role of Billie on one of the top soap operas of all time, Days of Our Lives, from 1996 to 1999.

Allen’s first memorable role on the big screen came in 1997 with Liar Liar, when she played the "Busty Elevator Girl." The film starred Jim Carrey, Maura Tierney, and Cary Elwes. She also went on to appear in Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, which starred Drew Barrymore, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and Sam Rockwell; Anger Management in 2003, starring Adam Sandler, Jack Nicholson, and Marisa Tomei, in which she took a more prominent role as Stacy; and Paycheck, also in 2003, starring Ben Affleck, Uma Thurman, and Aaron Eckhart.

Back on TV, Allen managed to land guest-starring and recurring roles on a number of popular series, such as The X-Files, in which she played a virtual reality character; Baywatch; CSI, in which she played a hooker; Spin City; Charmed; Friends; Mutant X; Smallville; and Frasier. In Smallville, which stars Tom Welling, as well as in Mutant X, Allen’s character could control males with her pheromones.

More recently, Allen can be seen on the new ABC drama What About Brian, which she plays the recurring role of Bridget. What About Brian stars Barry Watson, who is most know for his role as eldest son Matt Camden on the hit family drama 7th Heaven.

Allen was married to Justin Moritt in the late 1990s for the period of time she enjoyed her status as a Days of Our Lives star. The couple has one son, Jacob Nolan, who was born in 1997. Allen started dating Clooney after they met on the Confessions of a Dangerous Mind set in 2001.
