Logan Lerman

A star in the making and making all the right moves to speed the process along, landing roles alongside established Hollywood stars such as Mel Gibson, Ashton Kutcher, Jim Carrey and most recently Russell Crowe and Peter Fonda.

Born in the movie capital of the world, Beverly Hills, California, on January 19th 1992 it was a short journey for Logan Lerman to travel in his quest for big screen stardom. Logan had decided at a very young age, rumoured to be two years of age, that he wanted to follow a career in acting. With his parents enrolling him with a casting agency Logan was soon appearing in commercials in the early part of this millennium.

At the age eight Logan made his film debut playing Mel Gibson’s son, William Martin, in ‘The Patriot’ alongside Heath Ledger, Joely Richardson and Chris Cooper. Once again in the same year Mel and Logan met up in the romantic comedy, ‘What Women Want’ which this time saw him starring as the young Nick Marshall, the character played by Gibson, and with co stars Helen Hunt and Marisa Tomei.

During the early 2000’s the majority of Logan’s roles where acting the younger versions of adult actors such as Ashton Kutcher’ s character, Evan Treborn in ‘The Butterfly Effect’ in 2004  and as Adam Garcia’s younger character, Jason, in the 2001 movie, ‘Riding in cars with Boys’ with Drew Barrymore and Brittany Murphy.

The roles just kept coming for the young Logan when he was cast in the made for television movie ‘A Painted House’ in 2003 which won him a Young Artist Award for ‘Best Performance by a Leading Young actor in a television production. His success in that movie garnered him the role of Robert McCallister in the short lived TV series ‘Jack & Bobby’ in 2004, which, although axed after two seasons went on to win another Young Artist Award for Logan.

Growing in years. Logan has landed the roles of characters suited to his own age such as his role in ‘Hoot’ in 2006 with Luke Wilson and veteran actor Robert Wagner, which once again gained Logan another Young Actor’s Award, this time for Best performance in a Feature Film.

Being only in his early teens Logan finds plenty of roles as the son of actors in movies such as, Robin Sparrow, Jim Carrey’s son in the 2007, edge of your seat movie ‘Number 23’.

Having grown into fine actor and having an impressive visual appearance, Logan secured the role of Christian Bale’s eldest son in the late 2007 movie, ‘3:10 to Yuma’ which also starred Peter Fonda and bad boy Russell Crowe

Not content with pursuing purely an acting career, Logan has teamed up with his ex-co star in ‘Bobby & Jack’, Dean Collins, and together the two have established a company called ‘Monkeynuts 1069’ where together they write, direct and star in short movies that they then upload to the website Youtube.
