Lucy Pinder Not yet a great sensation across the Atlantic in America but given time this ambitious British born model will doubtless find her way into the pages of Hugh Hefner’s Playboy magazine and making appearance on the Larry King and Jay Leno shows along with every other model. Lucy Pinder was born and raised in Winchester, Hampshire, UK on December 20th 1983 and entered the world of modeling purely by accident when she was spotted sunbathing on the beach in the British coastal city of Bournemouth in 2003. The freelance photographer who spotted her, Lee Earle, took photos of her on the day and after they were sent to British national newspaper, The Daily Star Lucy signed a contract to begin modeling for the newspaper which thrust her into the public eye and garnered an immediate fan base which continues to grow around the world. She remains one of the most popular and sought after models in the UK. By 2005 Lucy had become a regular on the covers of UK men’s magazines such as FHM, Nuts, Zoo, Ice, Fast Car and Loaded. Her popularity was such that by the end of 2005 readers had voted her in 16th position in the poll for FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World. In 2006 she had dropped to 35th place and in 2007 her position had diminished to 92nd.
Pinder has also appeared in prominent ads for PlayStation 2, the Yellow Pages and the National Lottery. Her own website has also been doing a steady business of late, generating over 25 million hits a month.In the early days of her modeling career Lucy didn’t take her glamour modeling to the stage of appearing completely topless but eventually she did so for Nuts magazine in April 2007. Finding success and confidence at being photographed topless Lucy was soon in the studio making her debut for Loaded magazine in August 2007, completely naked. She also appeared Page 3 in July and August for The Daily Star on a weekly basis and she has also signed a 6 month contract with exclusive rights with Nuts magazine. Her posing partner, in many of her shots is also a British model, Michelle Marshand additionally she has been photographed with a variety of naturally voluptuous glamour models, including Sophie Howard, Maria Swan, Lindsey Strutt and Saskia Howard-Clarke.Not just a pretty face with an exceptional body Lucy also lends herself as an ambassador for Kick 4 Life, a charity that uses football to fight poverty and disease in the developing world.
