Riley Keough

It was perhaps inevitable that Riley Keough would eventually find her way into the spotlight. Born into one of the most famous, and at times downright bizarre, families, Keough grew up in a world of music legends, Hollywood royalty, and even eerily white, no-nosed stepfathers.

Danielle Riley Keough, known popularly as Riley Keough, was born May 29, 1989 in Los Angeles, California. Her mother is well known singer and songwriter Lisa Marie Presley, while her father is Danny Keough, an actor and musician in his own right. This makes her maternal grandparents, of course, the legendary Elvis Presley and his wife, Priscilla Presley.

She has one brother, Benjamin Storm Keough, who was born October 21, 1992. Lisa Marie and Danny divorced just two years later, in 1994.

Keough’s first move towards celebrity was at the age of fifteen. She appeared on the cover of Vogue, under the direction of Anna Wintour, with both her mother and grandmother.

Although Keough is still very young, she has made impressive leaps and bounds in her professional career. In February of 2004, she made her modeling debut in Milan for the prestigious design duo of Dolce & Gabbana (Domenico Dolce and Sefano Gabbana).

With her successful runway debut and famous lineage, other designers began clamoring for her favor. Although she only stands at 5’7”, a far cry from most super tall supermodels, she incites a fascination with the public that designers can’t resist.

This helped win her the lead in a video for the new Christian Dior perfume, Miss Dior Cherie. The campaign was fronted by fashion design extraordinaire John Galliano.

Raised as a Scientologist, Keough partakes in the religion made instantly famous by its most vocal proponent, Tom Cruise. 

In her personal life, she is currently dating pop star Ryan Cabrera. Cabrera, whose personal life became public fodder when he was dating pop tartlet Ashlee Simpson, seems much more serious with Keough. Reports indicate they have not only exchanged commitment rings, but the twosome has also moved in together and currently reside in Los Angeles.

Keough remains in contact with her biological father, but by virtue of Lisa Marie’s multiple marriages, she has had numerous step-fathers. To that end, Keough grew up with the king of pop, Michael Jackson, Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage, and Lisa Marie’s current husband, Michael Lockwood.

Keough counts many of Hollywood’s A list as friends, including Rumer Willis, the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis.
