Vanessa Hudgens was born in Salinas, California on December 14^th 1988 to Greg and Gina who between them can trace their ancestry to Irish, Filipino, Chinese, Spanish and Native American, making Vanessa the beautiful actress that she is. Vanessa is not the only actress in the family, she has a sister, Stella, who was born in 1995 and who also appears in commercials and several television shows. 

After auditioning for the part in a commercial Hudgens was offered the part and at that time the family made the decision to move the family to Los Angeles. By 2004 Vanessa was landing roles in movies. One of her first parts was as Tintin in ‘Thunderbirds’ which saw her starring with Bill Paxton, Genie Francis and Ben Kingsley. This was followed by her television appearance as Noel  in ‘Quintuplets’ with Jason Priestley, Robert Hoffman and one of Hugh Hefner’s Playboy cover girls and American swimmer, Amanda Beard.
